THE MEMBERS:

Membership is made up of volunteers from all walks of life.  Students of history, militaria collectors, vehicle restorers, active and reserve military, teachers, retired and those still working... everyone is welcome to join, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, disability, income level, national origin, sexual preference, age or shoe size.

The sole requirement is an interest in the history of the WWII soldier and a willingness to learn and share what you have learned.

Once a member, there are rules of behavior and guidelines that must be followed, both for your safety and for the respect of your fellow member.  These can be found in our "HOW TO JOIN" section.

THE ORGANIZATION:

The Tenth Mountain Division Living History Display Group is a Colorado based not-for-profit corporation.  It's stated purpose is the preservation of the history, artifacts and traditions of the WWII mountain soldier, and the presentation and education of the public about those times.

To accomplish that purpose, the group provides exhibits at public events, schools and local, regional and national museums.  The format can be through the vehicle of "Living History", or through verbal presentations, static museum exhibits, research assistance or in other ways not listed here.

Imagine being able to walk through an authentic WWII Army camp.  What would you want to see?  What would you want to touch?  If you can imagine it, our mission is to make it happen.

An aspect of our mission is the honoring of our veterans.  As such, this organization strongly supports the memorial activities of the United States military veterans, and is a regular participant in Memorial Day ceremonies at Camp Hale.

Several years ago, we lost an important member, a friend, mentor and an all-around great guy.   Bruce Ryan served in many roles in the organization.  To read about Bruce, and the friend that we lost, click on the Chaplain’s Cross.

We miss ya, buddy!
