Dr. Richard Tooker, US military collector and historian, provided a WWII 10th Mountain Division Display on September 13, 2003. 

The display was part of the annual River Rouge Military Encampment in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Tooker joined a growing number of 

WWII living historians, who participated in this well attended event. The 10th Mountain Display was well received, earning Dr. Tooker an 

unofficial "Best of Show" from the local Michigan National Guard unit (Co D, 1st Btn, 125th Infantry). Dr. Tooker was presented with a

Company D "Delta Dragons" challenge coin for his efforts. Michigan is a state with a rich connection to the 10th Mountain Division. Future

events are planned, including a winter snow scene photo shoot and several static displays for veterans groups and fellow historians.
