MEMBER PROFILES
Meet some of our members here. Not
everyone is pictured, but this can give you an idea of who we are and what we
do.

Sven H is one of our riflemen and serves as a squad grenadier. Equipped with his
M-1 Garand and a
pocket full of grenades, Sven is feared by all who know him!
Sven lives in
LtC Chris R is active duty in the US Air Force, with a recently
completed
Doctorate in Military History.
An avid student of history, Chris is known for his
ability to make history come alive for his students. Chris drives a restored WWII
Jeep, and should be returning to the USAFA as a Professor of History in

Doc Phil is
the head of our Midwestern squad, based in northern
Doc Phil is a teacher, working to ensure that WWII is not forgotten in
our
schools. He maintains our 2nd Aid Station
and is influential in many
reenacting

Terry W is a past unit commander, living
and working in the
Terry is a US Army veteran, formerly on staff at the White House. When
you meet Terry, ask him about “M-1 Thumb”, and watch him blush.

Jeremiah H is one of our multi-faceted members.
“Goose” is interested in
the Aid Station,
Ordnance, Chaplains Corps and in our QM Pack Mules.
He also stands in as
a climber and ski instructor, and has been known to turn a wrench
on the tank
crew. Not one to be shy, “Goose” also
serves as our honorary Norwegian for
the Memorial Day
ceremonies, done in cooperation with the 99th Infantry Brigade
(Separate) Norse, who also trained at
Jon W is an ex-SSgt in the Army, and
(now that he is in-country), joins us
with a quality squad leader impression. Jon is a professional soldier,
bringing a quiet professionalism
to what he does. He is also the master
of the bawdy joke, the quick wit and the M-1 rifle. Now
that he is retired, we’ll have to re-write this piece!

USAFA Cadets: While we cannot picture them
all, this is a sample
crop of the future leaders
of the
uniforms and other
resources available to the cadets of the History
Club, who participate
when they are able.
